fyn.me (“the Service”, accessible at fyn.me) is a social platform where people create a public profile, receive anonymous questions and messages, publish answers, and chat in real time, anonymously or with a revealed identity. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account you confirm that you are.
You are responsible for your account and everything that happens through it. Keep your password safe, use a real email address (we use it for verification, password recovery and optional notifications), and don't share your account. We may require email verification before activating your account.
Askers and chat guests appear anonymous to the people they contact. However, the Service technically processes limited data (such as a one-way hashed form of your IP address) to enforce rate limits, blocks and moderation. Anonymity applies between users. It is not a shield against abuse, unlawful content or valid legal orders, and our moderators can always see which account sent something that was reported.
There is no tolerance on fyn.me for objectionable content or for abusive users. You agree not to post or send anything that is harassing, bullying or threatening; hateful or discriminatory; sexually explicit, or involving minors in any sexual context; violent, or encouraging anyone to hurt themselves; spam, scams or misleading; infringing other people's rights or privacy, including sharing their personal details; or illegal in any way. The same rules apply to profile names, bios, gift notes and photos. Photo sharing in a chat needs the host's explicit permission.
Anyone who breaks these rules loses their account. We do not issue warnings first for abuse, threats, hate or sexual content.
Everything written on the Service passes through an automatic filter, and messages containing objectionable language are refused before anyone sees them.
You can report any question, answer, chat or profile from the ••• menu next to it. Reporting something also takes it off your screen straight away. You can block anyone, including an anonymous sender, from the same menu; blocked people cannot contact you or appear to you again. You can also hide any answer from your own view without reporting it.
We act on every report within 24 hours. When content breaks these Terms we remove it and ban the account that posted it; when it was sent without an account we block where it came from. We may also remove content, restrict features or ban accounts on our own initiative, with or without notice.
To report anything else, or anything urgent, write to support@fyn.me or use the form at fyn.me/support. You can reach both from Settings in the app.
You keep ownership of what you write. By publishing an answer you grant fyn.me a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute that content as part of the Service (including public answer pages and share links). You can unpublish or delete your answers at any time.
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or put other users at risk. When an account is deleted, its content (questions, answers, chats, photos) is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Content is posted by users, not by us. To the maximum extent permitted by law, fyn.me is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
We may update these Terms. When a change matters, we ask you to agree to the new version the next time you open the app.
